Paying Attention

We went to see a musical that was once on Broadway; it was the musical version of Cinderella. When the director of this local theater was introducing the show he mention that we could stop in the lobby and see the designer sketches for the costumes. As soon as the show was over Ellie asked if we could go see the pictures of the dresses. I was so surprised when we got to the lobby and Ellie found and was fascinated by these sketches.

The show was 2 hours long with a 30 minute intermission. Ellie's mommy fell asleep through some of it and Ellie was a little restless toward the end, but she loved it and asked what we were going to see next. (She fell asleep in the car minutes after we started the trip back home.)

It was warm today and it was smokey from all the wildfires in the area and Canada. My eyes are burning and I was inside most of the day.  Air quality is Unhealthy at 151 right now tonight.
