I was chasing bees round mainly on the chive flowers and granny's bonnet when this girl arrived. She liked sitting on the end of the bamboo sticks, flying around and then landing in the same place. It took a while to get close enough but quite pleased with this. jenceng identified her as a Broad-bodied Chaser - see comments below

Also today the Houblons for the front garden arrived and I've planted them up. They are Cascade and Northdown (which is pretty similar to Northern Brewer). So they add to the existing East Kent Goldings and Fuggles in the back garden
