Blue Rose - it is real!

Visited the Florists today to place orders for staff presentations at the end of the month. I noticed this blue rose as soon as I went into the shop and thought it was artificial.

I touched it to find it is real. Seemingly they were created in 2004 after 13 years of joint research by Australian and Japanese companies using genetic engineering.
