And smile for me

And so the day dawned.

It didn’t so much as Dawn as slap us about the chops at 3am.

Tooli has said her goodbyes to her Brother And Jess before we went to bed. So we didn’t have that horror as we left.

I drove up and to be honest. I don’t really remember. It was dark and it was early and I had to focus on the road

The Qatar queue wasn’t quite as long as it has been every other time… as always Himself stood the queue and hornier checked in.

The walk to security is the worst.

We were there in seconds. There was a massive queue and stewards were sorting people into lines.

We hugged our goodbyes, yes it’s the right thing; yes of course we miss her. But it such a great time She has out there; eight weeks and we will be back together again and another eight weeks after that….

(Hate to tell you this but I’ve just taken you right up to Christmas)

And she left

And we went downstairs and grabbed a coffee and left the airport. We had just hit the motorway when Tooli text to say she was thru security and sitting in lovely empty lounge.

(My kids are ace. They have access to all the lounges )

The picture of the free breakfast was enough to make my belly rumble

We got home in great time. We were at the allotment at 650. Picked the last of the plums and another kilo of French beans. And our table from yesterday

Then for Tooli we drove to the banking and climbed the banking at 730. Because I promised I would still keep my walking up til I see her again

Shopping followed. And then bed for an hour

Then lawn mowing wedding. And lavender harvesting

I’ll be in bed by 9
