Sunshine

A fun day today. Some good times in the office with my friends and then a lovely walk in the beautiful sunshine after work. At first I went for a walk along the canal to find a good shot and passed a canalboat. The 'captain' of that boat suddenly poked his head out and said, 'Take a picture of me!'. I politely responded that I was just taking pictures of flowers and wildlife. He then said, 'I'm wildlife, take a picture of me!' Again I said no thanks and began to move off. He shouted out again that he was wildlife and at this point I decided it was time for me to have a little jog along the towpath!

I then came across a lovely field filled with buttercups and dandelions. It was like a field of sunshine. So here is just a taste of what I saw. It was a little breezy so it was tricky to get all the flowers in focus at the same time.

I have also got a new toy today - a new camera with brilliant zoom and focus so I will be doing lots of experimenting over the weekend. I am very excited about it!
