Now that she understands that a ride in the car means a forest of trees to sniff and explore, Millie is less reluctant to get in the truck.

It’s been a day of getting chores done, ordering some stuff, and being creative when cooking a dish that would normally go in the oven but cooking time would be during load shedding.

We finished it off with a great catch up with the Wilmington pair who are starting their plans for a trip here next year. Lots of options of places to visit. I just love planning trips!
