A wet start. I’d had my early pot of tea and decided to go into Kendal. Then changed my mind. But I know myself very well and realise that sometimes I must get out …… it doesn’t matter where.

There was no rain in Kendal. I paid for two hours parking and started with coffee and toasted teacake in Booths, then wandered around a few shops, browsing many departments but buying only household items and some food.

Broadband changeover booked for tomorrow so if I disappear it’s because I can’t get connected.
