Saturday Blip

A bit shopping this morning and an early lunch. Then headed out to Exmoor. There had been one or two reports of the heather being out so thought I would investigate.

Roads were fairly quiet, so a nice drive out onto the moor. No sign of any deer, but there were quite a few Exmoor ponies around, one I have included in the extra. Still plenty of heather to flower. I stopped at the top of Porlock hill where one can find an icecream van in a great lookout area over Porlock Bay. A lovely patchwork of heather towards Porlock. So after the obligatory ice cream cornet, yum, I headed home :-)
