At Judy’s
Went around the corner to Judy’s for tea. Liz was there, and Myra dropped in later. We sat in the shade in the garden. Judy served lemon verbena tea; her verbena plants make it through the winter somehow.
D and I finally finished Richardson’s book on R. W. Emerson. It’s taken us a very long time, mostly due to my procrastination. But it was excellent and a really good experience reading it together and discussing every chapter.
