Life in a Northern Town

Ribblehead

We’ve had a lovely day in the Dales. First we did the Ingleton Waterfall Trail, which we hadn’t done for years. It was a good day for it, plenty of water in the falls, but we’d forgotten quite how strenuous the walk is - we’ve no idea how we ever did it with a lazy greyhound! See extras for Thornton Force, and also for some crazy folk canyoning into one of the pools - great fun to watch. After that we went to the Ribblehead Viaduct - managed to catch a diesel crossing it, which is better than nowt as they say in Yorkshire (see extras).

Here’s Sarah showing off the viaduct.

We’re home now, knackered, eating cheese toasties, drinking Rioja and watching Pirates of the Caribbean - all is good.
