Volunteering at Hill of Tarvit.

Friday has become our regular day for being NTS volunteers.

On arrival at the Mansionhouse preparations were being made for a wedding to be celebrated in the grounds tomorrow. 

Today’s Blipfoto shows the Marquee being prepared for the reception.

The Great Hall had been cleared as it will be used for Celebration Drinks.

Hill of Tarvit is a popular venue for Weddings. The House will be closed to visitors on Saturday. Today was very busy with visitors as a consequence

All will be back to normal on Sunday and the House will be available to visitors.

There is a quiz for younger visitors which involves finding ‘dogs’  while the tour the house.

I wonder how many spotted the dog in the 16th century tapestry. See extra. 

The second extra is of the glazed screen which has been placed in the corner of the Great Hall and is creating several reflections.
