I shall never complain about our weather ever again. It  may be mediocre at times but generally we have no fears of it being life  threatening.
My friend is in West Kelowna, British Columbia For the last 24 hours she has been updating us on the fire that is north of where she lives. Every year they have terrifying wild fires Ibut this year it has been worse. 

Shes posted photos  showing the plumes of smoke only a few miles away and as the day has progressed she has been told to prepare to evacuate.

Tonight she has to leave her home as a wall of flame moves ever close
Its heartbreaking. 
 My thoughts and prayers are with her and everyone who is  caught up in these fires... so many across the world at the moment
