Follow Every By-Way

Tooli was in Edinburgh overnight, with her Mathletes.    One is A Banker, one is also a maths teacher.   They had dinner, went to a show (Six Chick Flicks - highly recommended), had a drink and went home and chatted. 

Tooli also met Cat in the afternoon and had lunch and a good old chat with her too. 

Us meanwhile.   We did the usual. 

I took a half day.  Did a whack of work in the morning, cleared the quandary from yesterday, and discovered anotherone.  We paid a lot of money for this piece of work, and I thnk I have done more work on it than we paid the guy for. 

But it's sorted. 

And this afternoon, I relented and made some baking for the show. Except..... 

My millionaire shortbread is too thick on the shortbread  and too thin on the caramel.  I think my victoria sponge will be okay, and i will do another lemon drizzle in the morning.   Maybe. 

My poor emotions are all to pot.  

It's taken  me three weeks to get used to them all being here, but now, one of them is going, and I'm sad. 

I don;;t know how tomorrow will be. We're all going to the Show.  TOoli is helping her dad with registrations...   We'll be entering.  

I hope the rain stays off.
