Friday: Nature’s Abundance

I was so glad I’d cooked MrD’s favourite meatballs this morning, by lunchtime I’d run out of steam and spent the afternoon reading - MrD on deliveries all day.

Around 4pm the wind picked up, I was sitting on the lion bench drinking my afternoon coffee (plus shortbread) listening to all the birds chirping and chattering - there’s a Blackbird chick nearby making that strange screeching noise …

Temperature around 20°C for most of the day, humidity 84% - no wonder it’s heavy and clammy :-((

Heavy rain when we got up this morning but it cleared by breakfast time and returned around 6pm  - we have a storm warning in place too, Storm Betty …

Today’s Blip: Bramley cooking apples filling out nicely, chicory flowers and  Acorns - food for humans and the wildlife :-))

Wishing everyone a fun packed weekend :-)) XXXX XXX XX

Nos da pawb / goodnight all xx
