Unexpected day

Well I didn't plan that I would spend the day in Glasgow at the eye clinic. When I woke up I realised I couldn't see at all out of my eye. It didn't clear so after a phone call I  was summoned to the clinic 2hrs away in Glasgow. 
Later I am diagnosed with acute uveitis again. That was good news and better than I was imagining, as it can settle with steroids and vision is already clearing. Just arrived home so it will be a quiet night with no gin but maybe a kambucha later.
