Second flush

We had torrential rain this morning, but it is sunny enough now for me to be able to take this photo if the second flush of flowers on one of my very old roses.
I enjoyed a stimulating morning with old friends from my WI. We have a lot of WI history together, but at the moment we are working on the programme of speakers. Inevitably our chat strayed into memories of how it was in our day!
