Proud Poppies

Visited a friend today and these beauties were blooming in her garden.
We went out for lunch and also managed to fit in a bit of retail therapy. I managed to purchase a pair of shoes, 2 tops and a duvet cover. I had no idea I needed these items at the start of the day!
Maybe the lovely sunshine and pending hols had something to do with it!
