Clippers

For all you blippers that know the jedi amd his struggles, this is a massive accomplishment. Harp needed a fringe trim for going back to nursery on Tuesday and the jedi a proper haircut.  The queue was huge at the hairdressers.  Its a walk in one so I took all the wildlings to the picnic park first for aome fun. We then sat and waited in the hairdressers for about 40 minutes before it was the two wee wildlings turn. Harp loves places like that. The jedi is normally like a feral cat and gets so upset.  I went to sit him on my knee as normal but he said " no " so he climbed up and Lesley put the apron on him. She has done his hair before and knows what he's normally like. She started talking to him and letting him feel the tickle of the clippers along his hands , and then she got on with cutting his. She kept chatting to him the whole time and was absolutely amazed at the difference.  She's been cutting Mr R's hair for over 20 years and she said " Simon isn't going to believe how amazing he's been ". He was smiling away and talking about the green swing he had been on at the park.

I was as proud as punch. We all went to Iceland for a ice lolly after and then for the first time in a long time he fell asleep in the buggy.

The wildlings will be having a early dinner tonight as we will be meeting Mr R at his work on our bikes and then going a cycle after. The wind has picked up loads but thankfully there is no rain. It would be good if it held off. Xander has a football match tomorrow and Mr R will be coming to watch. Xander is so excited as he's never been to a match or training to watch him.

I had another coach message me to say that it will be great for xander as its 7 a side teams and he will get to play the whole time without being subbed.

Happy weekend blippers. Hope it's a good one .
