DAY TWENTY: Fledgling

I attended a moving and raw session on ethics in mental healthcare today. Not for the first time this conference made me think of Mary Olivers Wild Geese: 

"Tell me about despair, yours, and I will tell you mine.
Meanwhile the world goes on."

Perhaps it should be obvious that spending 4 days thinking about human rights and the mental health system might leave you reeling, but I didn't anticipate how impactful this week would be. 

Thank you Adelaide for making me think so hard about the complexities of changemaking. Tomorrow I hope to see the hills.
