Better things

... will surely come my way

Nearly six weeks in and I have to admit I'm struggling for Blips at the mo. I originally intended to do it for a month, but it's impossible to stop, so I'll go for, well, 100... a year? I want to be able to take real decent photos. I'd love a well proper camera, but I'd still have to put in the effort. But it's been really satisfying to do something creative, and to have a diary of life for May 2009 and beyond, augmented by a growing collection of cutting room floor jobs. I have possibly the worst portfolio of bird photography there is, and I don't know how the heck I'm going to capture curious people in the street without getting beaten up. So I thought my luck had changed when I encountered a stumpy rainbow on a summer's evening. Alas, the results were awful, so my effort will have to just be a sample slice of sky in the orange bath light on this long summer night.
