The Rooftops Of Glastonbury
The monthly Old Gits' Coffee Morning was held this morning; today's host lives at the top of the hill overlooking the town and I suspect I blipped a similar view when we met here around the same time last year.
St John's Church is in the foreground, with St Benedict's further down the town and Wearyall Hill, of Holy Thorn fame, forming a green backdrop. The chimney beyond the hill is in the old Clark's Factory in Street while the white building in the far distance top right is the windmill on Walton Hill that I've blipped previously.
Some catching up was done with two of our number having just returned from Peru and New Zealand respectively. This afternoon it was back to marking in the sunshine.
