Umbrella day...
... you are going to need it.
More than half a month's rain could fall across the south of England today, so between 30mm and 40mm. The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for thunderstorms in the south, south-east and the Solent area, including London and stretching to Birmingham. And a yellow warning for wind is in place across coastal areas of north and mid-Wales, and gusts could reach up to 97km/h 60mph.
Happy Friday everyone. It'll brighten up tomorrow!
