We were able to go to a viewing of Fellow Travelers (sic. US spelling) a limited series based on a novel that our sister company FMNA have made for Showtime in the US.  It’s a love story, set among the political class,  between two gay men in the period between McCarthyism and AIDS.  Beautifully made and acted, one of the leads is an English actor, Jonathan Bailey who turns in a terrific performance.  There was a Q&A afterwards with my colleague Dante, top left and the team.  

But it was pretty steamy!  And quite odd to be watching, mid afternoon,  in the hub where we have lunch, so many full on sex scenes….at least I wasn’t trying to have a serious meeting in one of the surrounding offices.  A quick glance out of the window would have derailed many an agenda. 

Lunch in lovely sunny Soho with a writer over from the US who is developing something at the moment which he can’t work on because of the strike but it was lovely to be out with all of us, Noemi, Emily and me, for lunch.  

And then an early dinner in Soho in the evening with Hannah W before catching a 9pm train home.  I then had to do a late US/Aus call on the ongoing project with Amazon.  Had to prop my eyelids open a bit.
