On the way up...

...Skuleberget. Most years we take ourselves up to the top of this mountain with wonderful views out over the sea. Jan blipped that view today and I've blipped it before too. We decided to take a new route up to the top, starting from the landward side of the mountain, parking at the foot of the new chairlift. It seemed to be doing good business taking more sedentary visitors to the top.
Today's blip is looking back down the path, down to the valley we started from. The mountain was very soggy from all the rain that's fallen in the last few weeks but fortunately a lot of the walk is over bare rock so we kept dry feet.  It was fairly warm today, and there was no breeze this side of the mountain so we were hot! I like that, Jan less so!
Once we reached the top we enjoyed our picnic as we looked at the view. Skuleberget had grown its own cumulus cloud that hovered a few hundred metres above the hill and kept the sun off us. Jan was happy with this, Keith less so!
We finished off the day with a Thai take-away meal from Älandsbro, near home. It was delicious so we'll maybe become regulars with this newly started business.
