A good day overall (if we put aside lack of success regarding a discussion with Apple about an iPad. and even there may there may be a chink of light). I was in London today and met up with one old work friend at the Wallace Collection for a pot of Earl Grey tea, a slice of lemon drizzle cake and a good catch up. And then to Cote in Devonshire Street to meet 2 other work friends for an early dinner. The time flashed past and I wasn't home till after 10. Never mind. Absolutely worth it. We have all promised each other to repeat in September.

Walking back to Baker Street tube I spotted this crane silhouetted against the night sky.
