Death and the Circle of Life …

… begins again. After the 300 - 500 year old chestnut tree fell last autumn, we did not know how quickly it would become seed terrain for other species. It is starting already. We always used to take our guests our guests to see this great forest elder now it pit is with sadness that we show them (blipper, Prostel, in this case) its rotting body. Extra of the tree 5 years ago in the winter.

It has been a mainly relaxing day with a bit of yoga this evening. Last day for Prostel tomorrow before he leaves for Zurich tomorrow afternoon. Another mountain to climb tomorrow before he’s allowed to leave!
