A killer whale!

The little pond behind the formal garden in Pollok Park is almost totally congested with reeds and enormous lily pads. I check regularly for signs of white water lilies but until this morning there was no evidence of a flower.

What I saw this morning reminded me of an Orca preparing to leap out of the water.

The extra, a photo taken last year, is what I had hoped to see. I suppose there is still time for the flower to open.
