Birds of America

The Oak Room in the Central Library. In the glass display cabinet is a copy of Audubon's "Birds of America". There aren't many copies kicking around and the last time one went to auction it fetched more than $8 million. This is one of the great things about the new library - there is space to display books like this, that were previously archived away.
