Garden Inspection

Last night, we had a massive thunderstorm, going on for hours with heavy rain, lightning like a firework display, and strong winds. In nearby Frankfurt, the airport and several subway stations got flooded.

The storm was a little too much for some plants in our garden. The big Buddleja bush is now bent to the ground, and some tomato plants got flattened. Nothing serious though. 

I’m finding it difficult to sleep in the steamy nights with tropical temperatures, and didn’t go for a walk today. It’s just too hot and humid.
