Best of British?

Here in Oz we have many things to thank the British for and many others not so much. There would be widely varying opinions where the Leyland Titan double decker should be situated on that scale.
I remember riding around Sydney on plenty of these in the ‘50s and ‘60s. They were brilliant as long as you weren’t in a hurry, or wanted to hold a conversation or if you were travelling behind and preferred not to inhale thick, black diesel fumes.
A detour returning from Lithgow today revealed this example in Hartley, no longer a danger to anybody’s health or to the planet.
