BIRD BATH IN THE SHADOWS

Angus & I were taking a short break, on the patio, when I noticed this BIRD BATH.
I had moved it, when cleaning the table;
& it looked completely different. I have had it for many years, but no birds have ever
come to it. I finally gave up & let it just decorate my table.

On another note, my resident MOURNING
DOVE has returned to her nest. Early in the Summer, she raised a chick, but then the whole family disappeared. She is back & Angus found her mate with the grown chick, in the shade, under the olive tree. The male was cooing a little while ago. They are all safe & well.

It seems late to raise a chick, so maybe she is just taking a break from her responsibilities.
