Tattoo staging

We caught the bus to town and had a wander up the Royal Mile to the castle. Incredibly busy with tourists milling around. I headed off to Marchmont for my appointment at the hairdressers, while Dennis continued back down the Royal Mile, looking for street performers and generally enjoying the festival atmosphere.
We met up again later in the meadows.
