Doon the water!

The cloud lingered longer on the coast than the forecasters suggested last night. It was still warm and very sunny in the afternoon.
Our morning beach walk enabled us to reconnect with the curlews. Their call. Their bills. Their gait takes us back to many an east coast beach walk during our Joppa years.

This afternoon we had a long overdue catch up with my cousin who lives in South Ayrshire. Our previous recent meetings have been at family funerals.

An evening beach walk provided me with my blip. Arran looms behind four sailing boats venturing west from Troon harbour.

Unfortunately, the cloud returned to deny the planned Arran sunset blip!
