Keswick . SIL Sue and I walked Catbells with the dogs in perfect sunny cloudy still weather. We said hello to her mum ( who we sprinkled at the top in 2006) and had a great walk, although one of knees wasn’t happy on the descent . Dave, Mike and Bobby walked and ran a far bigger route in prep for Bobby attempting the ‘Bob Graham Round’ on Thurs and Fri. It’s an extreme endurance fell running challenge that needs to be completed in under 24 hours and takes in 42 Lakeland fells . Bobby is 22 and a commando - which explains everything !
We stopped off at The Derby Arms for dinner and some fantastic local beer. I love all these dog friendly pubs in England . Basil was fine until Daniel the Spaniel came in and then got very growly and bolshy . Small terriers are such little attitude wotsits .
