Inspired by my course on trees.

After a weekend studying trees and how to identify them, I have been taking a fresh look at oak trees on my morning walk. They are not all English oaks as I had rather assumed. This one, I think, is a sessile oak, although I am rather concerned that I don’t see any ‘beard like hairs on the vein axils of the underside’ of the leaves.
It’s tricky.
