An attempt at subtlety...

I have long admired the almost impressionistic technique used by Rainie in her flowers studies, eg example, created I assume by use of minimum depth of field and a considerable use of soft focus. This is my attempt a such a flower study. Definitely impressionistic because I can't even give you the identity of the flower and I suspect there's not enough detail here for others to make a guess.
