In the beginning

The day didn't start off with breakfast, oh no. It began at 1am when the fire alarm went off in the hotel. And then stopped. But not before I'd got out of bed and started looking for my trousers. After breakfast we bid farewell to Alasdair and Olivia before we headed off back to our homes. A long and tedious trip back up the A1 for us, made very tedious by the rain, roadworks, slow traffic and the Edinburgh City bypass.

Never mind, the sun was shining in Fife when we eventually made it back home. Emptying the suitcase can wait until tomorrow...
