The loo

We have just spent the morning at The Castle in Winchester, at the HCC planning meeting , where after months of letters of objections and some extremely hard work by members of our community, the Planning Committee passed plans to build two new schools in the grounds of the School already in our narrow street. So, watch out Winchester, there will now be permanent gridlock in the Fulflood area and it appears that anything can get through planning, even if childrens' safety is at risk.
As we came out, steam coming out of our ears, this sign for the Ladies made me laugh- so twee, old fashioned and apologetic. Because ladies don't use a loo do they???!!!
