The new Serpentine Pavilion

Here's Paul outside the new Pavilion - an ethereal, cloud-like structure housing a Fortnum & Mason cafe and LOTS of people with cameras.

There are overlapping clear discs in the roof which I suppose are meant to keep you dry if its raining - I wonder whether they work! It's fun to walk around the whole thing and see people seemingly walking on air inside - it's all glass and white tubing with no differentiation between sides and floors - quite disorientating. I like it, it invites interaction and feels playful and welcoming :-)
