Sophie's Flower

This afternoon the girls and I  drove up to the mailbox, instead of walking,  because of the looming thunderstorms.  As we turned the corner on the way back home, I saw that the Rose of Sharon bush was in blossom. My blip is the flower that Sophia picked. She asked me to mention her in my journal. 
She is so cute. I have nine grandchildren. She is the only one of them to assign me a nickname. To her, I am "Gran" not "Granny." I love that!
