3 Monkeys Swinging

A people day today...as well as starting to gather the bits and bobs Nate will need for school. He's delighted that in Primaria you finally need your own pencil case!
Danny came home from seeing some homeless friends with food orders. Thankfully we had loads left over from last night so were able to reheat and send it out. He went off to lead the prayer walk and the doorbell went with one of the guys needing some help. I went down and found him in a heated argument with someone who was clearly off his face, with his shorts fallen down (and no underwear). It's a dodgy thing getting into an argument with this particular friend as his fuse is extremely short/non existent. Thankfully Davide shouting for me to call the police sent this other guy off...but it felt a bit nerve-wracking for a short while!
Caña Club tonight which was lovely! It included Cathy on her way to the airport, and 2 others who aren't usually there, plus the usual suspects. It also included a friend who's been living in a tent for the last month as he can't afford to stay anywhere.
We walked out of Caña Club and bumped into a gorgeous Roma friend from Sa Penya, plus her daughter and grandson. Wonderful wonderful to catch up with her and hear some of her news.

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Feeling so much better today - maybe it was the edge of a bug yesterday??
2) Finishing a brilliant kids book I bought for Asha in the UK - Peril on the Atlantic by AM Howell. Really enjoyed it.
3) Asha and Nate walking home from Caña Club hand in hand.
