Nuthatch ( Sitta europaea )

A day round home nothing much worth recording.

Not much photographic inspiration but did manage to get this shot of a male adult Nuthatch.  The population is up about 300% over the last 50 years with now around a quarter of a million territories (pairs in breeding season).  The distribution has increased by 38% over the last 40 years.
