Getting some fresh air

I took a stroll down to the library to pick up the book I've been pretending to read for Book Club, and then made a start while sitting by the river in the sun. Luckily our meet up was delayed due to various summer holidays so I have a couple of weeks to catch up. The first pages have me gripped already - it's I am, I am, I am by Maggie O'Farrell.

It's the last day of the school holidays in Edinburgh. H had a lazy day with D, and is all set for the start of term tomorrow. Where did all the time go?
