Vaccinated

Early morning walk.  

Vet appointment for annual vaccination.  I was worried Kyro might snap so brought muzzle. I warned vet, George that he might get snappy.  George said he'd see how we go. He plied him with treats and Kyro only sqealed when the needle exited.  He was very good.  Kyro has put on 2 kilos since our last visit which I'm pleased with.

At home poor Kyro was feeling the effects.  His movements were all in slow motion and he slept in one position for hours this afternoon.  He's not been off his meals at all and his energy was picking up early evening.

My previous greyhounds also were tired after their vaccination.  It seems more pronounced with Kyro as he's much more energetic.  Kyro has to have a second in four weeks as this is a new vaccine so we may have a repeat response.

After visiting the vet this morning we headed home to drop him off.  Then drove to the retail park, md for Pets at home, him indoors for Hobbycraft.  I bought some large biscuits, chews and a bone.  Hobbycraft didn't have the desired paper.  Tindalls our art shop does.

Spent the rest of the day keeping an eye on Kyro.  He hasn't asked for his second walk.  It is too warm and humid for him especially as he's not his usual self.
