Dundee

Had a return to the Outpatients at Ninewells for a check up of a medical issue. Thankfully it’s cleared up very well and the consultant asked me to return in February next year.

We then went into Dundee and parked near the Queens hotel and walked to Empire State coffee and snack Cafe. Sat outside with an excellent hot spicy meatball panini. Lovely weather just in time for the Scottish schools return.

We had a nice walk too then back to mums flat and took down all the pictures. This includes the one that was in every face time call we made . The Mackintosh Patrick that I gave her and dad for their Ruby Wedding present of a field in the Carse of Gowrie with old hay stookies . We saw mum from the eyes up and all the picture.

I have been reading a book on Loss. A sentence that stuck in my mind. ‘Although loss shares some common traits, each experience is utterly unique. It starts with who you are, the kind of person you are will determine how you respond to loss and how the people around you respond to your loss as well. And that those that don’t do it like you do can be hard. ‘. Yes, the last sentence as I questioned this with S (not about him).

So anyway, I’ve always been a writing down feelings type of person, in earlier years it was a paper diary. Here now, it’s on this. Processing thoughts .
