Beauty in fading flowers!

I make no apology for circling my flower blip with the sky last night, I was soo excited to look out of the window & see a rainbow because I nevet see one from here. Alas by the time I'd picked up the camera & hobbled to the window it had almost faded away. However I still think it was a pleasant looking sky!
These flowers are in need of renewing but they still look good to my eyes. The petals from the lilies have completely fallen off, but the stamens still reveal their beauty.
Though it is dry & mostly bright, my medication will keep me in today!! Still I can enjoy the garden instead.
