Early afternoon.

Second BBQ here in 2023. Just the two of us; the wee family were away for a few days at the seaside. And younger son was out with his partner buying school workwear for the new session, (the “back to school” mindset prevails now, he’s been in already this week). Our BBQ was a sort of late lunch, and we just enjoyed the garden afterwards. And we went for a walk in the evening.

Oh, and the work that started yesterday? Stopped. The man is ill. He’d a persistent cough….
