Puha.. (sow thistle) seed head

Puha as it's commonly known here has always been a weed  and I've never tried eating it but  years ago  our dear neighbour Clarice always  saw it as a delicacy and took great delight in keeping our boundary weed free.  She was a wonderful neighbour.!
