Winter Vineyards

The Mistress was saying she feels like she has missed a whole season. When she left, the leaves on the vines were still green and the grapes were being harvested. 7.5 weeks later, the vines are stripped to bare red/brown wood with a reddish tinge in the late afternoon sun.

As we left home today, it was clouding over with rain, mist on the hills, so we took a detour to get this shot.

The mistress is complaining that despite 12 hours sleep, she's still tired. Bedtime already!
