recipie for disaster

First Off...I shoud say I am an "Italian" male; so no stranger to cooking...I do it just about every day and was a short order cook for like 3 years.

I don't know who came up with this recipie, but I think the temp is wrong.
3lbs of chicken, 400 F, 1.5hrs
I wont list all the ingredients, but there was 1 cup of honey in it.
My oven temp is right on the dial numbers (i check)
15 min BEFORE this was to be done, it decided to ignite
I followed the directions to a T
I ordered pizza.
As a pic I think the texture is cool looking.
As dinner it really stank up the house!
